European Hearing on Rio+20

WECF director spoke at the „Greener Europe – Greener world“ meeting in Brussels

The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) and its Sustainable Development Observatory, organised on its own initiative a hearing in preparation of Rio+20, which will take place in June 2012 in Brazil.

At the EESC’s 2nd Hearing “Greener Europe - Greener world?” on 23 March in Brussel, Sascha Gabizon, executive director of WECF, gave a presentation on the work by the Women Rio+20 Committee and the policy positions which have been prepared on „Green Economy“ and reform of „International Governance of Sustainable Development“.
