The families who were helped received equal quantities of material, which should be enough to make the living and sleeping areas of their home rain-proof.The project was made possible due to private donations from the Netherlands and Germany.

Just in time before the start of winter, the 40 poorest families in Prislop can now sleep in a water proof house again. This also brings WECF's roofing-project to a successful end in Prislop. Since 2008, 42 families were enabled to live in a dry, water-proof house again. Most of them were young families with children living in the household. Thanks to the voluntary work of WECF and the local partner Anca Dancanet, the living situations of the poorest and most vulnerable people have been greatly improved.

In Prislop, there are about 35 other families who were not in need of the roofing project's help. Those families are either financially able to fix their roofs, or their roofs were still in relatively good condition.
