5th IWA Eastern European Water Professionals Conference

For young and senior water professionals

06.03.2013 |WECF

This year, from the 26th until the 28th of June, the International Water Association (IWA) organizes its Eastern European Conference in the oldest city of Eastern Europe, Kiev, Ukraine.

The conference in Kiev  will be the 5th event organized by IWA for young water professionals from countries of Eastern Europe. More than 500 young water professionals from more than 40 countries participated in our four previous conferences: Minsk-Belarus in 2009, Moscow-Russia in 2010, Almaty-Kazakhstan in 2011 and Saint Petersburg-Russia in 2012.

Kiev is not only a beautiful historic city, but it is also easy to get to from Eastern European countries. Moreover, nor citizen of CIS countries, neither citizens of European Union will need a visa. Our local partner (Reisebuero Welt) will help you to arrange transportation and accommodation; this will help you to arrange travel in an easy way. The Publications will be published in the Conference Proceedings, water journals of CIS countries and IWA journals.

The topics of the conference contain a high level of scientific interest. Coffee- and lunch-breaks are long in order to give young water professionals an opportunity to exchange ideas and build a network. The conference program will include several scientific sessions and organized cultural and technical excursions.
