WECF director speaks on Civil Society Priorities at UN Environment Assembly

WECF present with Delegation of Women and EWA project partners at 1st UN Environment Assembly in Nairobi

WECF director Sascha Gabizon as co-facilitator of the Women's Major Group, spoke on civil society's priorities for the 1st United Nations Environment Assembly, and the Sustainable Development Goals on 22 of June 2014.

WECF participates together with a delegation of Women's Major Group members from Nigeria, Kenya, Philippines, Colombia, India, Pacific SIDS, Sweden, and 5 grass roots women from Uganda, partners in WECF's project "Empowering Women Benefits All".

The Women's Major Group delegates are participating in the Gender Forum taking part on 23-24 of June.
