WECF initiated a letter to Chancellor Merkel on the need for Financing of Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment in the Post-2015 Sustainable Development Agenda.
The letter stresses the need for an application of Gender Responsive Budgeting to all budget processes related to implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals at national and international level. The letter was send as input for the G7 meeting which will start this week in Germany and co-signed by leading women’s and developing organisations with a base in Germany.
