Learn all about gender issues and its relevance in development projects and technology during a workshop given by Women in Europe for a Common Future (WECF) and hosted by Engineers Without Borders (EWB) on Thursday 11th of June in Utrecht.

In this workshop Claudia Wendland and Fedde Jorritsma will give you some ideas about gender aspects in general, women´s perspectives in sustainable development and international commitments. WECF has extensive experience with development projects for example in the field of sanitation, water and energy services and agriculture and will share some of their insights based on concrete examples. Leading questions are:

•    How to integrate gender aspects into development projects?
•    Why is it important to involve women and men and how to do it?

Interactive tools will be applied during the workshop to better understand gender issues and there will be sufficient space for interaction and discussion.
