Over 2700 worried (grand) parents signed petition: "We do not want hormone disrupting chemicals in products for our children!"

The Netherlands is taking health risks of EDCs seriously, emerged from open and constructive talk between WECF, BabyBeGood with the Director-General for Public Health

The Netherlands is taking the health risks of Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals (EDCs) seriously. This emerged from an open and constructive talk between representatives of WECF and Dutch Green Parent platform BabyBeGood with the Director-General for Public Health Angelique Berg at the Ministry of Health.

Last year's question stated in a letter to Dutch Health Minister Schippers: "Why does the Dutch government nothing to protect vulnerable groups from substances of concern" seems to be obsolete.

After the meeting WECF and BabyBeGood handed over a petition to the Director General Public Health Angelique Berg in which parents voiced their concerns about the effects  endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) can have on the development and well being of their children. The petition was filled in by thousands of parents, both online and offline, earlier this year at the Sustainable Baby Plaza at the Nine Months Fair.
