On the occasion of COP21, the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation published a study conducted in collaboration with the women’s group Egalis, focusing on the important role of women and gender equality in the fight against climate change and in preserving the environment.
Based on an analysis of existing international data and submission of nine innovative projects led by international solidarity NGOs, the report stresses the need to place gender equality and women empowerment at the heart of sustainable development projects. WECF’s gender-sensitive NAMA project is mentioned in this report as one of the innovative projects.
