German partner organization atmosfair posts article on WECF's project in Georgia
The German organization for sustainable travelling Atmosfair recently posted an article on WECF´s project for clean energy in Georgia

The article discussed the problems concerning the energy supply in rural Georgia, as local households mainly depend on firewood for their warm water supply. Solar collectors were expensive and the local population didn´t have the knowledge about how to install and use them.
Therefore, WECF decided to work with local partners to build solar collectors and train the local population in how to build, install and use them. The benefits of the project are many, such as the reduction of CO2 emissions, saving local forests, better quality of local air but also local employment and training in the clean energy sector and cheaper energy for local households.
