WECF and Women Major Group partners submitted their proposals for Ministerial Outcome of the 3rd United Nations Environment Assembly calling for a strengthening of the language on the following points;
- protecting children from pollution, as they suffer life-long irreversible effects
- avoiding recycling of toxic waste back into children’s toys and other consumer products
- understanding women’s and men’s different gender roles and health impacts from hazardous chemical pollution.
