Women Environmental Programme (WEP) Nigeria, and WECF organised a high-level meeting in Abuja, Nigeria on Gender, Chemicals and Waste, on 10-12 of January 2018.

50 delegates from the Ministries of Environment and Women, the National Environment Agency (NESREA), UN agencies and Civil Society Organisations watched are invited to watch the film, produced with the Secretariat of the BRS Conventions. 

The film presentation was followed by a panel discussion on how all actions of the Ministries and Agencies can be made gender-responsive, and what should be priorities for next steps, see powerpoint enclosed (as PDF). The entire event was covered on national TV.
