HLPF: High Level Political Forum 2017, New York

WECF is participating in UN's central platform for the follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustianable Developments (SDGs) as part of the Women2030 project and as Women's Major Group (WMG) regional operational partner to advocate for a gender-just and tranformative outcome.

The theme of the conference is"Eradicating poverty and promoting prosperity in a changing world". And the set of goals to recieve particular attention during the conference is:

Goal 5: on gender equality
Goal 9: on infrastructure
