Safe drinking Water & Energy in Uganda
Video with impressions of sustainable technologies implemented by ARUWE and WECF
19.01.2017
From June 2015 until February 2016, WECF implemented a project in Uganda to improve living conditions through sustainable technologies for renewable energy, agriculture and water.
In cooperation with its local partner Action for Rural Women's Empowerment (ARUWE), WECF enabled families access to safe drinking water, clean and affordable energy and an increase of their agricultural productivity. In this video, members of ARUWE describe the function of the installed biogas plant and rainwater harvesting as well as how the project improved the people's living conditions. Take a look!
The project "Safe drinking water and Energy for Uganda" was funded by the Erbacher Stiftung"
