Viktorija 99 began its work on June 1st 1996, under the name, «Footsteps of Hope.» The organization registered in Livno, on June 4th 1999, under the name «Viktorija,» as a branch office working out of Jajce. On January 16, 2002, it was officially recognized in Jajce as Viktorija 99.
Viktorija 99 is a non-governmental, independent, multi-ethnic organization. Its work is centered on improving the quality of life of women.
In the beginning we only had a shared enthusiasm. Lacking our own space, equipment and financial resources, we had no choice but to use an office that belonged to another organization.
