WECF's Network Conference "Our Common Future" in Budapest

"Our Common Future" will bring together 70 leading women environmentalists from the Pan-European region

"Our Common Future" will bring together 70 leading women environmentalists from the pan-European region. The agenda includes European Chemicals policy, Theater as a communication tool, clearing the misunderstandings about Gender and planning joing campaigns in the areas of rural development, water and
sanitation and energy alternatives. Part of the conference will be
transmitted live to Russian television MIR. The invited opening speaker is Hungary's minister for equal opportunities.

In order to allow WECF members to also take part in the Ministerial
Children's Environmental Health conference, WECF has decided to have it's network conference follow the ministerial conference.

The WECF network conference will take place in Central European University from Saturday 26th till Monday 28th of June.

How to get to the CEU:

The CEU Conference Center is located on Kerepesi út 87, which begins at Eastern Railway Station, following Rákóczi út.
The CEU Center is only one bus stop (by bus no. 44 and 44/a) or 3-5 minutes drive by car from the "Red Line/M2" metro station at Örs Vezér tér. The Ferihegy International Airport is located 15 minutes from the CEU Center.
