Workshop in Warsaw
WECF organises 2nd Polish Women and REACH workshop 25 - 26 February 2005

The 2nd WECF Polish Women and REACH training will take place 25 and 26 February at the WWF Poland office. Co-organisers of the event are SEI and Karat and WWF Poland.
The participants will be representing various stakeholders in the REACH debate- it will be half women's NGOs, half environmental NGOs, one person from an animal rights group (FYI animal testing has been controversial in the REACH debate) and 2 unions, Solidarnosc and the Chemical Workers Union will be represented.
Speakers will include Anja Leetz of Chemical Reaction, Kristine Babre of the Baltic Environment Forum, Ms. Hanzlik, a Polisch member of the European Parliament, Pawel Gluwczynski environment NGO and Daniela Rosche, Policy Coordinator WECF. The first day will be more informational whereas on the second day participants are supposed to work mostly in working groups in order to plan events for Poland and develop a strategy.
