WECF members organise a CSD-14 preparatory Meeting, 13-15 April, 2006 in Tbilisi, Georgia

Greens Movement of Georgia/Friends of the Earth, International Center for Environmental research, "Georgian Environmental and Biological Monitoring Association", "Caucasus Environment", "Environmental League", the Netherlands- based network "WEGF", and the European Eco-Forum are going to hold 3-day capacity and strategy development International Conference on:
Capacity Building and Strategy Development for Georgia in the Global Sustaineble Development Process", 13-15 April, 2006, Tbilisi, Georgia for Georgian NGOs and NGO representatives (60 participants) and participants from other states of the EU and EECCA region.
Furthemore, the conference foresees a dialogue meeting of the civil society representatives with the Georgian Minister of Finance- the elected chair of the CSD-14Session- and the Georgian Minister of Environment a strategy meeting in preparation of the UN CSD 14 meeting which will take place from 1-12 May 2006 in New York,USA.
