Mrs Avril Doyle, a member of the European Parliament, together with
health, environment, breastfeeding and women’s NGOs launched the report
“Toxic Inheritance” at the European Parliament in Brussels today. A new
Friends of the Earth Europe report examines studies conducted by
various scientific bodies to measure persistent pollutants in humans by
analyzing breastmilk. The report begins with a foreword by the
Vice-President of the European Commission, Margot Wallström.
