The 3^rd Meeting of the Parties is due to take place from 11 to 13 June 2008 in Riga/Latvia. According to article 5 (4) of the Convention many countries are obliged to submit national reports on the state of the environment for consideration by the Meeting of the Parties.

WECF informed earlier this year about the timeline of the consultation process on the national implementation reports; it had been extended until mid-November. Now WECF would like to know of its partners and other interested NGOs whether they have participated in the consultation process and/or whether they are planning to prepare a shadow report.
