Concerned with current discussion regarding safer chemicals policy REACH

WECF and other public interest organisations recommend on candidate list which is being prepared including all substances fulfilling the criteria laid out for the so-called Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC)

A coalition of public interest organizations (including WECF) is concerned with the current discussions regarding the REACH policy for chemicals in the European Union.

Right now, a Candidate list is being prepared to list all substances fulfilling the criteria laid out for the so-called Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC).  Given its very important role to improve the protection of human health and the environment from hazardous chemicals, and as a crucial tool within REACH to promote safer chemicals, WECF and others  would like to make the few recommendations.
