European Environmental Bureau (EEB) Annual General Meeting – WECF now on the board

WECF took part in the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the European Environmental Bureau (EEB) on October 20 and 21. Admissions of new members bring the organisation now to well over 150 members with an expanded board with national representatives from more than 30 countries. For the first time the board now also includes seats for representatives of EEB members primarily active at European level. As such, Anke Stock representing WECF was elected to the board.
A new work programme was discussed and ideas regarding the communications work and possible rebranding were presented. On October 21, the executive director of WECF took part in the workshop on how to ensure effective implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Europe, inter alia providing input to a planned toolkit on SDG implementation.
