The Dutch Health Committee published a 140 page report looking at
pesticides used in food and effects on children. The report gives a
very good overview of the specific vulnerability of children to
pesticides. The report also states that although they do not recommend
children to stop eating fruit and vegetables, the committee believes
that current international pesticide regulations need to be reviewed,
in other words, strengthened. The annex of the report gives a good
overview of health effects on children for each type of pesticide.
