Women Perspective on the Green Economy: Side Event Rio+20, 27 March

WECF was an organizing partner of a Side Event Intersessional Rio+20 “Women‘s Critical Perspectives on the Green Economy” held on the 27th of March in New York.

Together with the representatives of NGOs from Colombia, United States of America and Philippines, WECF drew attention to practical examples on how to incorporate gender dimension into Sustainable Development policies, highlighted the role of women in initiatives on Green Economy and jointly prepared recommendations for the UNCSD.
