Are we on track to the Future We Want?
This Google Hangout marks the one-year anniversary of Rio+20, the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development. It took place on 13 June at 11am EDT (3 pm GMT) on the UN Google+ page: plus.google.com/+UnitedNations
Find out what actions have been taken since Rio+20 in this event hosted by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) and its Division for Sustainable Development.
A high-level panel of participants have discussed the sustainable development goals currently being developed by the General Assembly's Open Working Group, the High Level Political Forum, the engagement of civil society in the follow up processes of Rio+20, and the voluntary commitments registered on the Sustainable Development Knowledge Platform.
